Support and Resistance: Finding Important Price Levels
MarketLens Editorial · 12 Oct 2026
Support is a price level where falling prices have previously stopped; resistance is where rising prices have stalled.
How MarketLens estimates them
We look for swing points in the recent history — sessions whose low (or high) is the lowest (or highest) of the surrounding sessions — and report the nearest levels below and above the latest close.
Using them carefully
Levels are zones, not exact prices. They break regularly, and a broken resistance often becomes support. Treat them as context for the forecast range, not as guaranteed turning points.
