How it works
From search to forecast in seven clear steps
You do not need a finance background. Each step below matches what you will see in the workspace.
- 1
Search for an instrument
Type a company name ("Infosys"), a ticker ("TCS.NS"), a currency pair ("USDINR") or a coin ("Bitcoin"). Results show the symbol, exchange, type and quote currency. Choose the exact listing you want — for example the NSE line (.NS) rather than BSE (.BO).
- 2
Review the history
The workspace opens with the available daily history, data status label (delayed, latest close, cached or stale), and key indicators. Check that the history is long enough; at least 120 sessions are required.
- 3
Choose a target date
Pick any date up to 90 calendar days ahead. If the date is not a trading session for that market, you will see why and a suggested alternative.
- 4
Generate the forecast
The server runs a walk-forward backtest of five models at your exact horizon, weights them by measured accuracy, and builds the OHLC forecast and uncertainty range.
- 5
Interpret the result
Read the projected OHLC, the change from the reference close and the 80% range. Look at the backtest error: if the typical error is larger than the projected move, treat the forecast cautiously.
- 6
Understand the scenario
Possible Buy, Possible Sell or Neutral is produced by published rules combining projected move, a volatility-scaled threshold, uncertainty and trend agreement. The reasons are listed for every forecast.
- 7
Save and revisit
Every forecast is stored. Bookmark the important ones, add instruments to your watchlist, and check back after the target date to compare with what actually happened.
