User guide and tutorials

Everything you need to use MarketLens confidently, from your first login to interpreting backtests.

Getting started

  1. After purchase, log in with the User ID (email) and temporary password shown on the success page.
  2. You will be asked to set a new password immediately.
  3. Open Forecast Workspace from the sidebar to begin.

Finding an instrument

  1. Search by name or symbol. Indian NSE symbols end in .NS and BSE in .BO.
  2. Forex pairs look like USDINR=X; crypto like BTC-USD or BTC-INR.
  3. Use the asset type filter to narrow results.

Reading the forecast

  1. Solid line = observed closes. Dashed line = projection. Shaded band = 80% uncertainty range.
  2. Compare the projected change with the backtest MAE: if the typical error is larger, be cautious.
  3. Read the scenario reasons — they explain exactly why it is Buy, Sell or Neutral.

Indicators at a glance

  1. RSI above 70 or below 30 shows stretched momentum, not a guaranteed reversal.
  2. MACD above its signal line indicates improving momentum.
  3. ATR % shows how much the price typically moves per session.

Watchlists & history

  1. Click the star in the workspace to add an instrument to your watchlist.
  2. Every forecast is saved to History automatically; bookmark important ones.
  3. After the target date passes, History shows the actual OHLC for comparison.

Troubleshooting

  1. "Lifetime access is required": your payment has not been verified. Contact support with your payment reference.
  2. Weekend dates are rejected for stock and forex markets; use the suggested date.
  3. If search returns nothing, try the ticker symbol instead of the name.
